Al-Duyayn Water Project in Alhodeidah Governorate

On Thursday, September 12, 2019, Pure Hands handed over the “Al-Duyayn” water project to a local committee in Sokhna district, AlHodeidah Governorate. This project was implemented by Pure Hands and funded by Mohammed Al-Basiri.

The project included drilling an artesian well, building a reservoir, and a control room to feed the area with clean water benefitting more than 3,000 people.

This kind of projects reduce the risk of the spread of diseases and epidemics resulting from the use of contaminated water. It will also help reduce the suffering of families in the targeted area who used to travel to remote sources looking for clean water.
