As a result of the brutally persistent conflict, many children not only lose one or both parents, but are also forced into early marriages or child labor which leads to missing out on their rights to education and the opportunity of building a brighter future for themselves. The Issue: The Challenge We Face
Behind the statistics of Yemen’s humanitarian crisis are real people—families torn apart, children traumatized by violence, women facing unimaginable hardships, and communities struggling to maintain their dignity amid chaos. The conflict has not only destroyed infrastructure but has shattered the social fabric that once held communities together.
Millions of Yemenis face severe protection risks daily. The ongoing conflict has resulted in civilian casualties, forced displacement, family separation, and widespread psychosocial trauma. Women and girls face heightened risks of gender-based violence, early marriage, and exploitation.
Vulnerable groups, including internally displaced persons, returnees, marginalized communities, persons with disabilities, and elderly individuals, face compounded protection challenges. Many lack civil documentation, limiting their access to basic services and humanitarian assistance.
Our Approach: Goals & Objectives
Our Goal:
To safeguard the rights and dignity of the most vulnerable, providing protection services and support to those at risk.
Main Objective:
Enhance protection of civilians by reducing protection risks, improving access to specialized protection services, and strengthening coping mechanisms for vulnerable groups (including CP, GBV, MAoR).
