Pure Hands advances social cohesion, human development, and peacebuilding in fragile and crisis-affected contexts, recognizing that sustainable recovery and stability depend not only on service delivery, but also on social trust, inclusion, and peaceful coexistence. Prolonged conflict, displacement, climate shocks, and economic stress have weakened social bonds, increased tensions, and exposed vulnerable groups—particularly women, children, and youth—to heightened risks.
Through this programmatic pillar, Pure Hands supports communities to recover from crisis, rebuild relationships, reduce tensions, and strengthen the foundations for peace, while expanding equitable access to essential services and opportunities.
Our Approach
Pure Hands applies a conflict-sensitive, people-centered, and peace-positive approach, integrating humanitarian principles with long-term human development and peacebuilding objectives. Interventions are designed to address both immediate social needs and the underlying drivers of fragility, including exclusion, inequality, and weakened community governance.
Peace is intentionally mainstreamed across programming through dialogue, inclusive participation, youth engagement, protection, and accountability, ensuring that assistance contributes to stability and does not exacerbate existing tensions.

Health, Well-Being, and Social Stability
Pure Hands supports inclusive, community-based health and well-being services that help restore confidence in public services, reduce disparities, and contribute to social stability in fragile environments.
Education, Human Capital, and Peaceful Coexistence
Pure Hands promotes access to inclusive education and learning opportunities that strengthen human capital, protect children and youth, and foster values of tolerance, coexistence, and shared responsibility.
Protection, Gender Equality, and Inclusion
Pure Hands delivers protection services and risk mitigation interventions that safeguard women, children, persons with disabilities, and other at-risk groups. These actions address social harm, reduce protection risks, and support dignity, equity, and peaceful community interaction.
Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS)
Pure Hands provides community-based psychosocial support to help individuals and families cope with trauma, stress, and loss resulting from conflict and displacement. Strengthening mental well-being supports social functioning and reduces drivers of violence and exclusion.
Peacebuilding, Social Cohesion, and Youth Engagement
Pure Hands actively promotes peacebuilding and social cohesion through community dialogue, youth participation, and conflict-sensitive initiatives that reduce tensions and strengthen trust. Youth are supported as agents of peace and positive change, contributing to reconciliation, civic engagement, and community resilience.
Community Participation and Local Governance
