Pure Hands is a registered non-profit humanitarian organization (501(c)(3)) working since 2012 to deliver principled assistance and recovery support in complex contexts. We maintain an officially licensed field office in Yemen and work through a trusted network of implementing partners across multiple countries, including Sudan, Ethiopia, Senegal, Syria, Pakistan, and Indonesia. This presence enables us to operate safely and effectively in diverse environments and to reach communities facing acute vulnerabilities. Â

Working in close coordination with national authorities, UN agencies, clusters, and local communities, Pure Hands delivers life-saving assistance and recovery solutions for populations affected by conflict, displacement, and climate-related shocks, with a strong commitment to accountability, inclusion, and do-no-harm programming.
Pure Hands operates across The Humanitarian-Development-Peace (HDP) Nexus, ensuring immediate life-saving needs are addressed while laying the foundations for recovery and resilience.
Our Approach
Pure Hands adopts an integrated approach that combines emergency humanitarian response, early recovery, and long-term resilience building to address the interconnected impacts of conflict, displacement, climate change, and environmental degradation. Our programming is designed across the humanitarian–development–peace nexus, ensuring that immediate life-saving assistance is delivered alongside interventions that strengthen social cohesion, promote inclusive recovery, and enhance communities’ capacity to adapt to climate-related shocks. Through strong local presence and partnerships with international funding partners and national stakeholders, we place women, youth, and marginalized groups at the center of response and recovery efforts.

Localization & Capacity Strengthening
Locally Led Action and Sustainable Systems
Pure Hands strengthens local leadership and institutional capacity to ensure humanitarian and development programs are locally owned, effectively managed, and sustainable. Since 2013, we have supported national organizations, community structures, and service providers to lead planning, implementation, and coordination, while improving governance, accountability, and compliance with international standards. Our approach invests in local partners, community committees, women and youth, and service delivery systems, enabling communities to manage resources responsibly, sustain services, and drive recovery and resilience.
